We truly appreciate the heartwarming photos and stories that have been submitted and we will share them with you on the 12th!
Would you like to show off how you decorated your front porch for the 4th of July? Or something your crafted to put on your porch for the 4th? We'd love to share it here. Just read through these quick guidelines and then use the form below to send us a photo of your front porch decorated for the 4th (past or present). Tell us a bit about how you decorated it and what inspired you.
The prize? We'll feature the photo of the winning entry on our home page for a week! (July 12-18, 2009) Thousands of site visitors will see it! All accepted entries will be shared on our site, but only the winning one will be on our home page.
Here is the scoop
We are looking for decorated porches with a 4th of July theme - red, white and blue, patriotism, Ole Glory. Could be your entire porch or just an area of your porch.
Perhaps you're crafty and came up with some patriotic pillows you sewed. Or red, white and blue decorative bird houses you painted for your porch. Maybe you have a container garden on your porch with red, white and blue flowers or beautiful flags waving in the breeze. Doesn't matter whether you have a small porch or a large country porch. We love them all.
The founders of Front-Porch-Ideas-and-More.com will decide upon the winning entry based upon (1)sticking with the 4th of July theme, (2)attractiveness,(3)originality and (4)the description that you provide and (5)comments provided by site visitors.

When does the contest begin and end?
It begins on Saturday, June 13th, 2009 and ends at midnight CDT on Sunday, July 5th, 2009.
Just a couple easy rules
Please submit only your porch - not a picture from a magazine or your neighbor's home - using the form below. Pictures from past 4th of July holidays are OK!
You are welcome to submit up to three (3) separate entries. Perhaps part of your porch is decorated differently from another part. Or you made several 4th of July crafts for your porch.
