The Schaeffers always have wonderful baked goods on hand - like homemade brownies, cookies or cakes. You'll find guests playing board games or sipping tea. There's usually something being baked and waiting for you when you return from a day enjoying the Smokies.
When it's too cool to sit on the porch swing, the guests gather here to enjoy the fireplace. It's a great place to chat with the other guests, watch a movie, read a book or just enjoy the peacefulness.The dining room is spacious and comfortable. There's always a pot of tea or coffee on the cast iron stove to warm you up.
