Churchill Manor Bed and Breakfast Beautiful Colonial Veranda
The Churchill Manor Bed and Breakfast in Napa Valley reflects the lifestyle of the early Napa founders. It was built in 1889 by Edward and Mary Churchill on Brown Street.
Churchill Manor is listed on the National Register - the first home in the Napa Valley to be listed. Twenty-two Ionic and Doric columns were added to flank the front porch and the kitchen porch. You can book reservations to this Inn on BedandBreakfast.com.
Guests who visit the manor are amazed by the covered veranda. Since the weather is so moderate in the Napa Valley, guests are served breakfast (three courses!) seated at small tables a la fresco (most months of the year).
The Manor is a lovely location for a wedding. Their beautiful grounds and the lovely veranda are a bride and groom's dream.
Enjoy evenings at the Manor; wine and appetizers are served. Share a conversation with other guests as you sit in the wicker furniture on the veranda. Or, find a corner just to yourself. The grounds are landscaped with mature trees, perennials, annuals, many varieties of rose bushes and a manicured lawn.
The building was remodeled after the 1906 earthquake and Edward Churchill's death. They added the wrap around colonial style veranda.
The guests rooms reflect the charm of this mansion yet they offer modern conveniences for your stay.
Within walking distance you can find wonderful restaurants, wine tasting and plenty of shopping. The manor is located on the downtown trolley route not far from the Oxbow Public Market and the Wine Train Station.
The Napa Valley is world renowned. Come explore, taste the wine, enjoy the outdoor activities, amazing restaurants and spas.
The Innkeepers, Brian Jensen and his wife, Joanna Guidotti, have owned the inn for 22 years. They maintain the Inn meticulously. The Inn is furnished with period antiques and it has a most comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
