View from the Porch

Porch View
This is a view from the porch but does show how white wicker creates an atmosphere of comfort and it is so versatile for changing cushions.
Marcia, this view is very lovely. And yes, with white wicker you can dress it up in so many ways. It sure is pretty in the summer! We truly appreciate you sharing this with us. Thank you. Nothing like a gorgeous view from the porch.

We love your red, white and blue patriotic decorations at your home. We are very appreciative of you sharing your porch decorating ideas with us. Rustic Colorado - ahhh! Sounds like somewhere we'd enjoy visiting. Victorian homes are one of our favorite styles. Anytime you decorate the exterior of your Victorian Style Home, we'll enjoy seeing pictures. There's not better way to show your American spirit in July than showing your colors on your porch.

4th of July Decorations for a Patriotic Porch
by Shelly
(CT)
4th of July - patriotic porch
I almost finished my 4th of July decorations and I just completed a porch ceiling renovation.
Well, considering it IS July 4th, I guess I've finished, though there were a few more pillows I wanted to make, and the fabric is just wrapped around the seat cushions since I didn't have time to make more covers. But I still think it looks pretty nice!

I love my porch!

Patriotic porch for the 4th of July
This is my dream home and I had always wanted a very large front porch to sit and have coffee or lemonade on a hot summer day. I love decorating it for every season. This happens to be a picture from July.
Marjorie, we are so happy you submitted this picture for everyone to enjoy. You have a gracious southern porch. With your porch rocking chairs and breezy ceiling fans, I'm sure it's a joy to sit and relax on your front porch. I appreciate how you decorated so patriotically for the 4th of July. Do you decorate your porch for all the seasons and holidays? Would love to see how you decorate in December! It's easy to see why you love your porch. The memories you create and the relaxing moments are simply priceless! When we visited Charleston and Savannah, we were taken in by the wonderful porches of the south. The wraparound porches, the side porches, the spectacular columns and haint blue ceilings. Oh my goodness, what a treat. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful home and porch with us.

Simple and Relaxing...
by Cindy Shingleton

Beautiful patriotic porch
Although we are patriotic all year round, the Fourth of July gives us a chance to truly celebrate our country. We show our true patriotic spirit with homemade red, white and blue cushions and pillows for our white wicker furniture, as well as a homemade bunting blowing in the breeze.
We gather all the red and white flowers that the porch will hold and make it complete with laughter heard from our boys playing in the front sprinkler...Even though our porch is small, we make the most of it with family and friends as we celebrate America's Birthday on the 4th of July!
