![]() Our autumn porch is simple but vibrant![]() Pumpkins and fall leaves dress up our entrywayI cut out a wooden pumpkin for Mary from a part of a cedar fence slat (truly inexpensive) and she painted it with various shades of oranges and golds for our front door. A bit of cream-colored yarn brings it all together at the stem. Against the blue door, this pumpkin looks dazzling. Also at our entryway is a simple board that Mary covered with black and white checked fabric. Then she cut leaves from felt and we simply stapled them on. ![]() Who loves fall wall art?Mary covered a board with a velour-type fabric that she already had. It's a shade of blue. Then she cut out pumpkins from colorful felt and glued them on. She used a permanent marker to add a few details. Then she added some cream-colored yarn for an accent on the pumpkin stem.See the wire going across at the bottom? That helps keep it from swaying back and forth from the wind. ![]() At the far end of our autumn porchMary made the pumpkin wall art by gluing scraps of leftover felt onto another wooden pumpkin cut-out I made for her.
