September - Kids are in school, football season has begun, and cooler days are ahead as we look forward to autumn.
Although September signals the end of summer, you can still enjoy time on your porch.
Whether celebrating your favorite football team or just relaxing and enjoying a cool evening, porches are a great place to frequent.
Mary and I enjoy anticipating fall and have some ideas for your porch. You need not spend a lot to create a picturesque autumn porch for all to enjoy.
So don't forget to take time between ball games or school activities to be on your porch.

Preparing for Autumn
Mary and I created two autumn decorating projects you might enjoy for your porch.
They are easy to do and cost pennies.
Autumn Painting Project
Mary drew and painted this decorative sunflower on fence slats.
Don't be fooled by the artwork; Mary showshow anyone can create such a porch paint.
You can modify her instructions to make it a perfect size or create your own fall scene to display on your porch.
